4k is a bit overrated imo, I think a solid 144hz 1440p monitor with hdr is the best bet right now when it comes to gamers.
4K gaming was just an added bonus from my perspective and HDR on this monitor is really nice for movies and using the PS4 pro as well but HDR on Windows is terrible currently..
